Trip2B is committed to protecting your privacy. We are bound by the strict rules of Belgian and European privacy legislation, which prevents us from making unlawful use of your personal data. What personal data do we collect?
We collect the following personal data from you:
- Our server automatically logs certain information, such as your IP address, your browser type, the date and time of your visit and the pages you (previously) visited this information is linked to your account if you are logged in on the Website.
- When you register on the Website, we collect your professional email, company and function. Your password will not be stored in a readable form.
- We will store the information about the trips you plan. This information, together with your company, function and email domain (not full email), will only be visible to other people who plan a trip in an overlapping time frame and whose trip is 'nearby' in distance (depending on the number of trips on that moment this distance can vary).
- We give you the option to link your profiles of other networking sites to your trip2B profile. The link to these profiles will only be visible to other members who also have linked their respective profiles, not to others.
- We store information about your conversations with other members, such as the date, time, and participants.
- We record your conversations with us (whether in writing, by email or otherwise).
The Website may also show banners and publicity from third parties. These third parties do not receive any information about you from us, although they may use themselves cookies and other tracking tools, and may store various information about you. You can consult their privacy policy at their corresponding websites.
Public visibility of your profile
The information you provide is only visible to members who have planned a business trip in the same time frame and whose trip is 'nearby' in distance (depending on the number of trips on that moment this distance can vary). These members will see your company name, function and email domain (which allows them to validate your company). If these members have linked their trip2B profile to other networking tool profiles, they will also be able to see links to your profiles from other networking tools, if you have linked these to your trip2B profile (principle of reciprocity in information sharing).
What About Internet Protocol (IP) Addresses?
The Website logs your IP address, but does not link your IP addresses to personal data unless you are logged in on the Website. We use these IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the Website, and gather broad demographic information about our visitors.
What about cookies?
The Website uses cookies – small pieces of information stored by your web browser – to recognize you as a previous visitor. Third parties do not receive access to the cookies stored by your web browser.
You can adjust the settings of your web browser to erase or block cookies if you want to. Please keep in mind, however, that if you do so, you may not be able to use or access certain features of the Website, or they may not work very well.

How do we handle "sensitive" personal data about you?
Considering the nature of the website, you should realize that we gather business trip data about you, as well as your conversations with other members. While this type of data is used by our servers to bring you into contact with other members, such is performed in an automatic way. Trip2B employees do never access this personal data, and it is never communicated to third parties. Please be aware, however, that all your personal data may be conveyed to competent authorities to investigate fraud or misuse.
How long do we store your personal data?
We store your personal data throughout the lifetime of your account, and during a period of 3 months thereafter.

To provide you with a more complete resource for networking information and services, the Website contains links to certain other websites. Is your personal data secure?

We will occasionally send you information regarding your account and the Website. In addition, we may send you emails with commercial information about our products and services, or products and services from third parties.

You have the right to access your personal data, as collected and processed by Trip2B, and to obtain the modification or deletion of data that is incorrect or that is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data was collected. To exercise these rights, you can either login to the Website with your username and password and navigate to your profile page, or contact us.
